Program Details
Xtreme Journey equips teens and young adults (ages 13+) in foster, adoptive, or relative care with the skills they need to thrive in adulthood. This skills-training is an integrated part of our Community4Youth mentoring program.
Through engaging Saturday events, participants learn about financial literacy, healthy relationships and boundaries, career prep and exploration, higher education, communication skills, daily living, and self care, all in a supportive, relational environment.
A Career Fair, headshots, mini photo shoot, backpacks, and giveaways are all included in the day for teens. Trauma-informed training is provided for adults.

Career Fair
Each Xtreme Journey also includes a Career Fair, connecting students with vocational information and opportunities to build confidence and future readiness.

Trauma-Informed Training
Trauma-Informed Training equips caring adults to better understand and support youth who have experienced adversity. It’s valuable for anyone who works with kids or teens of any age.
This is available to all adults including parents whose teens are participating in training. RSVP is required as lunch is provided.
